How to End a Shared Connection Kindly

Starting a shared connection tends to get considerably more attention than ending one. There are conversations about attraction, boundaries, first meets, jealousy and what happens if everybody gets on spectacularly well. Couples can spend weeks discussing how another person might enter their lives.

Very few sit down beforehand and say, “Right, and how are we going to behave if one of us wants this to stop?”

Understandably. It's not exactly foreplay.
