There is a surprisingly stubborn idea that women who want sex must eventually want it to turn into something else.Perhaps sex is merely the opening act. Give it enough time and apparently somebody should develop feelings, introduce a toothbrush to the bathroom and start discussing whether you've got anything planned for Christmas.
